Kings St Kitchen

We are King Street Kitchen, a proudly independent family run café, serving great food, made by us. We serve Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch and Afternoon Tea. A mixture of the Great British ‘caff’ and inspiration from our travels. Bringing back the neighbourhood café scene.

Easter 2016 Opening Hours and Menu

As our regular customers will know we close over Easter for some family time and to make updates and improvements to the cafe. This year our opening hours will be as follows:

Good Friday: Closed

Easter Saturday: Closed

Easter Monday: Closed

Tuesday: open as usual 8am -4pm

When we re-open our upstairs area will be open for you all to enjoy and we will be serving complimentary refreshments upstairs all day on Tuesday 29th March for those who want to come up and have a little look.

We are now taking bookings and reservations for upstairs for exclusive use or if you would like to reserve a large table (6 or more people) we can now reserve in our upstairs seating area. (Although please be aware that the stairs are steep for those who are less mobile!)  Please get in touch for details at kingstkitchen@gmail.com or by using the contact page on this website.

We are so looking forward to finally opening and being able to offer you a more relaxed and open space in which to enjoy our fantastic coffee, cakes and food.

The wonderful artwork upstairs is provided by the very talented Lucy  Baxendale.

This week our special is Chicken, Bacon and Mushroom Stroganoff which has been a favourite ever since it was mentioned in The Guardian newspaper when they did their article on best budget eats in Hereford in 2012. It's Sophie's own recipe and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

We also have some delicious cakes on including a coffee, mascarpone and hazelnut sponge, a fresh raspberry Victoria and we will be serving a delicious Guiness and Chocolate cake with cream cheese icing to celebrate St. Patrick's day on Thursday...also available as a cup cake!

We look forward to seeing you all this week!
